Tributes have poured in for The Horses vocalist and ARIA award-winner Margaret Urlich who died after a two-year battle with cancer.
The New Zealand-born singer died at her home in the South Highlands in New South Wales and is being remembered for her successful career in Australia.
Her debut solo album in 1989 - Safety in Numbers and Chameleon Dreams - both reached the top five in Australia. The Horses took four months to reach number one on the ARIA Charts in 1991 and eventually spent 12 weeks in the Top 10.Tributes have poured in on social media following the tragic news of her death.
"Today we remember the extraordinary talent of Margaret Urlich. Her passing is a profound loss for the entire music community," another said.
