The “failure to invest” in human capital has been historically “devastating” for South Africa, according to author and commentator Dr Jamie Miller.
“The fact that South Africa’s governments have invested in some people, not others, opened up education and skills to some people and not others, has just
had huge repercussions for social participation,” he told Sky News Australia.“Why innovate if your lot in life is decided by your racial designation at birth?”
