Leeds United host Huddersfield Town at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon just a few days after their loss to Stoke City
Leeds United produced a flat and jaded performance on Wednesday night as they lost 1-0 against Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium. Daniel Farke made three changes for the game in an effort to freshen up his side, but the Whites struggled to get going against the Potters and duly fell to their third defeat of the season.
Pascal Struijk and Joe Rodon performed well together against Stoke, despite the result, and it looks likely that they’ll play together once more, with Liam Cooper, who has struggled for minutes of late, ready to jump in if needed. Sam Byram was steady against the Potters, too, and if he’s good to make the short turnaround, he’ll play.
Of course, the Wales international has been instrumental in the middle for the most part this season, though, and his absence could be felt if he were to be rested. Ilia Gruev made his full debut for the Whites on Wednesday night and looked a little short of confidence.
