An industry leader in TaaS based in Bedfordview is seeking a Field Support Engineer to ensure the seamless delivery and maintenance of our time synchronization systems. This position will be responsible for providing on-site technical support , troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to our time synchronization systems. The ideal candidate will provide on-site technical support for clients, ensuring the installation, configuration, and maintenance of time synchronization systems.
This includes troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues related to time services, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. You will conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to ensure optimal operation of time services. Training clients on the proper use and maintenance of time synchronization equipment and software will be a key responsibility. Accurate documentation of all service activities, including installation procedures, troubleshooting steps, and client interactions, is essential. Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in time synchronization technology is crucial to provide informed recommendations to clients. Strong adherence to security protocols and best practices in all service activities is expected. The successful candidate will possess proven experience in a field support or technical support role, preferably in telecommunications, networking, or time synchronization systems. A strong understanding of time synchronization protocols (e.g., NTP, PTP) and related technologies is beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, are essential.
