An ABC radio host has defended a segment on the birth of Jesus after backlash from “so many angry” listeners.
The segment as part of ‘Self Improvement Wednesday’ centred around an interview with Reverend Professor Dorothy Lee from the University of Divinity.ABC Sydney Drive host Richard Glover took to Twitter to defend the segment aired last week.
“I know many don’t believe – I don’t – but why so angry about a Christian trip into a foundation text?” After sharing the “outrage” Mr Glover had experienced since the segment aired, he was flooded with supportive comments, including many who claimed they were atheists.
