Emergency services were called to Polwarth Street in Hyndland after the alarm was raised shortly before 6am on Friday.
Pictures taken from the scene showed a number of fire engines in attendance.
"Operations Control mobilised four appliances and a high reach vehicle to the scene, where crews remain in attendance."
