Australians will have their first opportunity to meet and greet King Charles III and Queen Camilla today when the visiting royal couple attend a church service in Sydney.

The public will have the chance to catch a glimpse of the King and Queen outside St Thomas' Anglican Church in North Sydney when the service starts at 9.30am. Huge crowds are expected and people are advised to get their early if they want to see the royal couple.King Charles and Queen Camilla meet Governor-General of Australia Sam Mostyn on his arrival in Sydney last Friday for a five-day tour to Australia, Later today they will attend the New South Wales Legislative Council bicentenary event at the state's Parliament House in Sydney.

The King will then receive the Governor-General Sam Mostyn and New South Wales Governor Margaret Beazley at Admiralty House.The short but packed schedule includes stops in Canberra and Sydney.Yesterday the Australian Defence Force appointed the King with a number of honorary ranks.
