A new era for the Queensland Reds has dawned under coach Les Kiss, as the club closed out an enthralling 31-29 win over Saitama Wild Knights on Saturday.
Bryant was damaging in the opening half; Kiss praising his strength to “penetrate, just to bend the line or collapse the defensive line”, as the Reds got on the front foot as a result of his efforts. “I thought the boys really fought hard in those moments, but to back up with a young scrum in the front row at least, to be able to aim up in that moment was ... a special moment,” Kiss said.Harry Wilson should consider himself cemented in the Reds’ No.8 jumper, and based on the form he has continued, desperately unlucky not to have been on the World Cup plane to France.
