A multi-vehicle crash involving four trucks closed the Hume Highway in New South Wales, Australia, for several hours early Friday morning. The crash occurred near Spring Dam Road at Coolac, north of Gundagai, around 1.45am. Three drivers were treated for injuries and taken to hospital.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred about 1.45am on Friday near Spring Dam Road at Coolac , about 18km north of Gundagai. Officers from the Hume and Riverina police districts arrived at the scene and found that four trucks had collided. The three other drivers were treated by paramedics and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
No charges have been laid over the crash. The Hume Highway had been closed southbound and was expected to be closed northbound, between Coolac and Jugiong Hill, NSW police said. It would remain closed for a number of hours. Police have established a crime scene and begun an investigation into the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers
