A man in France has accidentally blown up part of his house while trying to kill a fly with an electric bug-killing racquet. 9News
The man, aged in his 80s, was sitting in his home in Dordogne, south west France, on Friday evening when he noticed the fly, French news website Sud Ouest reports.
He picked up an electric bug-killing racquet to swat at the insect. However, a leaking gas canister caused a reaction with the racquet.The man, however, managed a lucky escape, suffering only minor burns on one of his hands.The fate of the fly is not known.
