Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen says fuel efficiency standards are only going to see faster emissions reduction.

“If they’re introduced, it’s only going to help in emissions reduction, so that’s a good thing,” Mr Bowen said during a media conference on Friday.

“Of course, if we do and they’re implemented, and they work, then they’ll be reflected in the updates I’ll give to parliament every year.”
