Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said Charles’ absence at his youngest son’s events was certainty a “snub" but the Sussexes had a strategy to navigate the expected"setback”. "If they were to mention the Commonwealth… in a favourable light in a speech, this would be positive,” he said.
