While they are often gardeners' most prized flowers, roses often need careful pruning and care to ensure they will bloom for years to come.
With autumn well and truly here, temperatures will begin to cool as wet weather arrives. Gardeners will no doubt be getting their plants ready for cold conditions.
Michael Griffiths is an experienced gardener who enjoys teaching gardeners the best way to care for their gardens, and has explained how to easily get rid of black spots on roses, the Express reports. “If you’re doing this with a pair of secateurs, remember to give them a good clean after to stop the spread. Or, you can pull in the opposite direction to the growth to easily remove them by hand.”
Michael said: “To reduce the chances of black spots taking hold again comes down to three things, Pruning, watering and mulching.”
