Gary McIntosh was jailed for his involvement in a Kimberley drug network which included supplying a trafficable amount of methylamphetamine bound for the town of Derby.
A WA man has been jailed for five years and six months for his involvement in a Kimberley drug ring .Intercepted phone calls and a police investigation spanning the length of Western Australia have resulted in a man being jailed for five years over his role in a drug distribution ring targeting the state's Kimberley .
McIntosh pleaded guilty to the charges, which included two counts of selling a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine and two counts of conspiring to sell the drug.Mark Richard Shadforth was sentenced in the Broome District Court The court heard Shadforth and another accused travelled to Perth in July 2022 and arranged with McIntosh the purchase of about 113 grams of methylamphetamine for $48,000.
Judge Gething said McIntosh's drug transactions amounted to a total value of $100,000, highlighting the seriousness of his offending.
