The Braehead club has lost key sponsors over the incident while head coach Malcolm Cameron and chief executive Gareth Chalmers were suspended.
Glasgow Clan is up for sale one week after the aborted signing of Lasse Uusivirta, who is accused of rape in the United States.
Uusivirta, now 33, was arrested on rape charges in 2013 but left for his native Finland 'with no intention of returning' to the US according to the assistant district attorney who handled the case. He was arrested for the alleged sexual assault of an 18-year-old female student at the UAH campus and will reportedly face charges if he ever goes back.
