Glentoran fell to a 3-0 defeat to Loughgall at the Oval on Saturday
Warren Feeney labelled Glentoran's 3-0 collapse to Loughgall as "totally unacceptable" as the Oval club's miserable season continued on Saturday.
More alarmingly is the fact that the Ovalmen are 24 points off leaders Larne, a seismic gap considering the club's ambitious expectations at the start of the season. "When you play for a club like this, you have to be honest. And in that changing room today, not one of us was honest. And that's me included.Feeney added: "You can see that there are players out there today who shouldn't be playing, but I don't have the squad to put ones on.
"And that's no disrespect to the ones on the bench. But it is just in areas that you hope some players will rediscover their form from a couple of weeks ago.Feeney believes his squad needs a mentality shift if they want to compete for major honours."I keep hearing we have a great squad. I heard this before I came in. But good squads and great squads win cups and leagues.
