Charlotte Hawkins, presenter on Good Morning Britain, revealed she's working on a new documentary after witnessing her friend's daughter being attacked by a dog
TV presenter Charlotte Hawkins is filming a new documentary to explore the dangerous side of dogs, following a shock attack from one on her friend's daughter.
The 48-year-old then claimed that the dog broke through the fence and knocked the little girl to the ground and bit her, but Charlotte was unable to step in and help fight it off. She said: "The two big dogs were barking aggressively. I was saying, ‘Don’t worry, they won’t be able to get out’. But one of the dogs did get out. I felt particularly vulnerable because I had my baby in a child carrier, so I was holding her and I knew I couldn’t step in and help. My friend’s daughter was knocked to the ground and it was so scary. It’s definitely made me more alert to the potential dangers.
And it seems that the star could be just the person to really get to the heart of the issue as Charlotte has been a long-time supporter of the Dogs Trust charity and knows the animal well.
