Good Morning Britain signs pop star as new entertainment presenter GMB
Good Morning Britain is welcoming pop icon Duncan James as the new guest entertainment presenter on weekday mornings, and he's "super excited" but "nervous" to be joining the team, as the singer opened up on his amazing new showbiz role.
"I’m super excited to be joining the Good Morning Britain family," he said. "I love the show and I’ve been on loads of times, not only with Blue but also when I was doing Chicago with Alexandra Burke, but this time it’ll be different with me presenting. When that fails, the pop star said he'll be turning to caffeine and will likely have about three coffees before going on air.
"Once something is said you can’t really take it back," Duncan considered the scary prospect. "I’m used to performing and even when I was playing my role in Hollyoaks I would have a script that I would read through and rehearse and the fact that you get to have multiple takes makes it easier. Duncan went on to say that he's most looking forward to being part of the "natural banter" with the rest of the hosts on air.
