However, while the union claimed commuters are "unlikely to notice any impact at all", Transport for NSW was not as optimistic.

"Services tomorrow will operate to a reduced timetable, with a reduction of trains during peak hours and altered running patterns across the day," Transport for NSW chief operating officer Howard Collins said. "We urge our customers to plan ahead and, if possible, avoid non-essential travel on the rail network tomorrow."Sydney's train network came grinding to a halt this morning after disputes between the state government and Rail, Tram and Bus Union broke down.seeking orders that would have prevented the union from continuing with a second straight week of industrial action, with Premier Dominic Perrottet claiming the RBTU's actions were politically motivated and done in bad faith.

Last week, industrial action on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday led to significant delays and reduced services across the train network.Following Tuesday's interim decision, a full FWC hearing will be held on Thursday.
