Amid a surge in coronavirus cases and new health advice, the government has ruled out extending payments for those infected and forced to isolate – despite calls from unions.
Mr Jones made the remarks on Wednesday morning amid calls from unions to reinstall the $750 per week payment to those forced to isolate with the virus, therefore missing work.
