Police are searching for two people on the Gold Coast this morning after a woman in her 60s went missing from her home, leaving behind a large amount of blood.

Regional Crime Coordinator Detective Superintendent Brendan Smith said officers were called to Ironbark Street at Elanora just after 3.30pm on Tuesday after reports of a burglary and a fire. He said Ms Sleeman disappeared from the home within 30 minutes of reports being made to police, and her disappearance was out of character.Police believe Ms Sleeman's son, Slade Murdok, could assist with their inquiries.
