The American withdrew from a tournament during the second round at Texas before the PGA Tour announced his death on Sunday.
Two-time PGA Tour winner Grayson Murray, who played in The Masters last month, has died shortly after withdrawing from his latest event. He was 30.
“The PGA Tour is a family, and when you lose a member of your family, you are never the same. We mourn Grayson and pray for comfort for his loved ones.”The PGA Tour has made grief counsellors available for players at the Charles Schwab Challenge. “Obviously the news hasn’t really sunk in quite yet, but I’m thinking about his family and praying hard for all of them,” the American said.
