The warning will come into force just after midnight tonight
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain for Greater Manchester ahead of heavy downpours.
It will come into force at 12.15am tomorrow morning and will last 6am on Thursday. In the areas covered by the yellow warning, forecasters warn that flooding could lead to 'difficult driving conditions' on some roads.Some 'homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings' and 'fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life'. It is also likely that the heavy rain will cause delays or cancellations on trains and bus services.
