Butwill probably pass under the radar of many music theatre diehards for one simple reason: it’s a fully fledged musical that also happens to be a video game.
Story-focused games are a significant slice of the industry, giving players the chance to guide a character through major decisions that determine how a narrative pans out. But letting you decide how a song unfolds? On a technical level alone, that’s a concept so tricky that it’s little surprise no one has pulled it off before.creative director, David Gaider, is no newcomer to feats of storytelling, however.
