Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi said in parliament: “We are not going to sit here and watch you pat yourselves on the back for doing nothing. Today, we bring the people’s protest into Parliament ... free Palestine.” “This is Mehreen Faruqi’s modus operandi to pull stunts, and also the Greens,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“And she’s been successful in that … it’s now circulated, it’s gone viral around the world. But what has it actually achieved?”
