The 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup has been tricky to handicap.
has been tricky to handicap.
It’s clear that some of the heavyweights, like the United States and Canada, are not too fussed about the tournament and are more interested in experimenting with their lineups and getting up-and-coming players some international experience. That showed in Canada’s first match, a stunning 2-2 draw against Guadeloupe, and could point us in the direction of a big price on Saturday night, too.
The Canadians are prohibitive -190 favorites on the three-way moneyline against Guatemala, but that’s a really tough price to swallow given the way the Canucks played in their opener this week.Guatemala, on the other hand, will absolutely be up for this and looked defensively solid in a 1-0 win over Cuba in their first contest of the group stage.
