November is Aus Music Month and on ABC Classic we are shining the spotlight on Australian music and musicians. Join Russell Torrance each week on Mornings as he celebrates a different classical music icon, from Margaret Sutherland to Nat Bartsch and the Goldner String Quartet. Plus hear from the very best Australian performers with concerts across the month in Lunchtime Concert and Evenings, straight from concert halls around the country.The fun kicks off on Friday 22 November with a live birthday celebration for Deborah Cheetham Fraillon, who turns 60.

On Saturday 23 November enjoy a day with all of your favourite Australian musicians, ensembles and orchestras. Then on Sunday 24 November, we're celebrating Australian composers, with a full day playing music written by Aussies.Celebrating Deborah Cheetham Fraillon's 60th Birthday: Deborah joins Vanessa Hughes for an hour of conversation and live performances celebrating Deborah's life and career.
