"We thought we'd handle it and then this morning we got another one and we decided to go and get our dogs out of Halls Gap," she said. Ms Ravenhall and her partner made their way to a relief centre at the Alexandra Oval Community Centre in Ararat.She was prepared for the possibility of not returning home for another four to five weeks.Gwen and Lloyd Thomas left their home in Pomonal in western Victoria on Friday afternoon as the Grampians fire escalated.
