Josh Hazlewood joined Pat Cummins as a victorious debutant captain to lead Australia to a one-day series win over England with a match to spare.
Mitchell Starc again highlighted why he and the new ball go hand in hand, claiming two wickets in the first over of England’s innings on the way to 4-47.Starc had a tangled Jason Roy caught down the leg side and then claimed Adelaide century maker David Malan with the ball of the match, which swung away from the left-hander and crashed into his off stump. Malan followed his 134 on Thursday night with a third-ball duck.
Allrounder Cameron Green returned to Perth ahead of his home Test and was replaced by Mitch Marsh. Josh Inglis was added to the squad.Sam Curran, Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid replaced Chris Jordan, Luke Wood and Olly Stone for England.
