The verbal jabs have begun almost three months out from Tim Tszyu and Jeff Horn's blockbuster fight.

As Jeff Horn and Michael Zerafa pounded each other’s heads into a bloody pulp in their middleweight rematch in Brisbane late last year, Tim Tszyu was catching rays in Waikiki.

For the foreseeable future - or until he wins a world title - Tszyu will draw comparisons to his legendary father, Kostya, one of the most successful light welterweights of all-time.The facial resemblance is uncanny. Save for Kostya’s trademark braided pigtail, they could be the same person. But if there’s one area where they differ, it’s the pre-fight trash talk.

For the best past of 20 minutes on Tuesday, Horn’s crafty promoter, Dean Lonergan, tried to bait Tszyu jnr with references to Tszyu's famous dad. Trash talk aside, this fight has the capacity to draw a decent crowd and decent pay-per-view numbers if the two camps can maintain the interest for the next three months.
