Ukrainian MP Halyna Yanchenko says increasing the supply of heavy weapons can “speed up the victory” in Ukraine and bring a quicker end to the country’s war with Russia.
She said military assistance remains one of the “main goals” of Ukrainian diplomacy with its foreign allies and partners.
“We are thankful Australia have sent some heavy weapon in Spring to Ukraine,” Ms Yanchenko told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “Some army vehicles and some other weapons, but I think that more heavy weapon can be actually something that will totally change the situation in Ukraine.
