A cutting-edge Digital Supply Chain Specialist is seeking a highly technical IT Network Administrator to join its 24/7 2nd Line Support team. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, network administration, and IT infrastructure optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for escalated IT issues, network troubleshooting and deployments, and maintaining as-built documentation for system configurations.
A highly technical IT Network Administrator is sought by a cutting-edge Digital Supply Chain Specialist to join its 24-hour 2nd Line Support team. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, network administration and IT infrastructure optimisation, ensuring operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for escalated IT issues, network troubleshooting and deployments, as well as maintaining as-built documentation for system configurations. The ideal candidate must preferably be MCSA/MCSE/AWS/CCNA/CCNP Certified with 5 years’ work experience in a similar role and be skilled in Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Linux , Microsoft 365, SIEM tools , WSUS, SCCM, Intune, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, etc.Provide advanced 2nd Line IT support for software, hardware and network issues escalated from 1st Line Support.Act as a key IT contact for internal teams, providing expert advice and solutions.Deployment & Network Support –Conduct network troubleshooting and optimisation to ensure secure, stable connectivity.Manage and configure Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP and VPNs.Network Administration & Security –Manage firewalls and VPN configurations.Utilise network monitoring tools for real-time performance tracking.Documentation & Process Improvement –Document troubleshooting steps to improve the knowledge base and incident response efficiency.REQUIREMENTS:Cisco Certified Network Associate or higher . Or .ITIL Foundation .Experience/Skills –Proven experience in troubleshooting escalated IT issues .Hands-on experience with Active Directory , Group Policies and Microsoft 365 Administration.Experience in remote IT support tools .Proficient in configuring and managing routers, switches and firewalls.Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi networks, subnetting and IP addressing.Basic scripting knowledge for IT automation.Understanding of Cybersecurity principles .Proficient in firewall management and intrusion detection systems.Experience with cloud environments .Supporting remote users via VPNs, cloud applications and remote desktop tools.Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting – Ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues quickly.Initiative-Taking Attitude – Proactively identifies, troubleshoots and resolves IT issues.Adaptability – Keeps up with modern technologies, evolving IT needs and business changes.While we would really like to respond to every application, should you not be contacted for this position within 10 working days please consider your application unsuccessful.
