New Sydney Roosters recruit Dominic Young is expected to make a full recovery after being taken to hospital in the UK with a sinus infection that spread to his brain. Young flew back to England earlier this month to take part in the three-Test series against Tonga when he complained of headaches. The towering winger initially thought the issue would remedy itself until he became sensitive to light and had trouble opening and closing his eyes.

” But Cincotta told WWOS that it “was pretty frightening”. “He was getting severe headaches and got so bad that he couldn’t stand any sort of bright light. “It pushed his condition over the edge and he wasn’t good. “They put him in hospital and traced it back to a sinus infection that spread throughout his head.
