7NEWS: Carramar: Teen girls charged after man allegedly knifed during Facebook Marketplace attack in Perth’s north

, about 2.30pm on Sunday after a 13-year-old girl expressed interest in buying his iPhone.

Police said when he arrived, the teen grabbed the phone from him before she ran away to meet up with a 15-year-old who was allegedly armed with a knife. The victim chased the pair to the driveway of a property on Viminea St, in nearby Carramar, where both girls were ”armed with knives” and “swung at the victim’s head multiple times”, authorities said.Joondalup detectives attended a Banksia Grove home just before 6.20pm Sunday and arrested two girls.They are due to appear in Perth Children’s Court on Monday.Credit:It is the second Facebook Marketplace deal to have taken a dark turn in recent weeks.
