A true night-mare! Fire crews are on the scene after a horse found itself in a tight spot in Sydney's south-west. It's not known if the horse is injured but it appeared to be standing calmly. READ MORE: 9News
Fire and Rescue NSW's Oak Ridge team posted a photo of the nettled nag, called Jester, after it had fallen into a drain on a property at Belimbla Park.
"Our truck is currently on scene at a horse rescue along with FR @Belimbla Park," they wrote on their Facebook page.A horse was trapped in an underground tank on a property in the Macarthur region, south-west of Sydney. Fire and rescue crews arrived to find the residents had already started lowering the drain's water level.
"Fire and Rescue NSW Technical Rescue fire fighters who are trained and equipped for large animal rescue proceeded to set up extrication equipment," FRNSW said on Facebook."Fire and Rescue NSW crews worked for two hours to complete the rescue of the horse from the drain." The Macarthur region was at the centre of some of the recent flooding, with Camden being inundated for the fourth time this year.
