The House Democrats have unveiled two articles of impeachment against US President Donald Trump.
The articles related to the President's abuse of power and obstructing Congress' attempts to investigate his dealings with Ukraine. A third article of impeachment was not included - obstruction of justice - which would have captured the allegations against the President in the Robert Mueller investigation.
House Judiciary Chair Jerrold Nadler said Mr Trump was accused of "high crimes and misdemeanors", and House speaker Nancy Pelosi said it was a solemn day for the nation. Donald Trump is the fourth US President in American history to face impeachment, and if impeached, he will be the third President to face a trial in the Senate.
