The Prime Minister unleashed his secret weapon in a sit-down interview with a flagship current affairs program.
Scott Morrison was not surprised by the alleged text exchange where his former colleague Gladys Berejiklian called him a"horrible, horrible person" while an apparent Cabinet Minister labelled him a"complete psycho".
Mr Morrison denied the two"horrible" text revelations had personally"hurt" him and it was not uncommon in Australian politics. "Look, you're a human being," he said when questioned by presenter Karl Stefanovic if he had his feelings hurt. He then unleashed what has been described as his"secret weapon" in his wife of 32-years, Jenny Morrison.
Days later his deputy Barnaby Joyce was in the spotlight following texts calling Mr Morrison a"hypocrite" and"liar" surfaced from when he was a backbencher.
