Boxing: A 'laser focussed' Sam Goodman isn't underestimating opponent Chainoi Worawut, but sees no problems getting the KO.
Sam Goodman could potentially go early and fight Japanese megastar Naoya Inoue in September this year after his promoters likened the undefeated Australian to great mate and UFC superstar Alexander Volkanovski.
Despite already being mandatory for division king Inoue, Goodman wants one more fight to ready for the challenge that is expected to come in December, with potential locations including Japan, the United States and Saudia Arabia. Rose also likened Goodman to fellow Wollongong fighter Volkanovski, whose “anyone, anywhere, anytime” mantra has seen him rise up to UFC superstardom.
Only last month, Volkanovski shelled out four grand for a pair of Goodman’s signed gloves at a charity auction.
