The normally green parklands of Byron Bay were a brown washout after downpours rendered the grounds unsafe on Friday night."People act like they've never seen mud before but it is what it is, they could've played the music I reckon," another said.
Weather conditions have eased in the area and the final day of music will be accompanied by sunshine. While a number of headline acts were cancelled on Friday, leading some artists who had been scrapped from the line-up to take their shows to local pubs, organisers pushed ahead with the massive event afterwards.READ MORE:
Crowd numbers picked up on Saturday, as repair crews worked around the grounds to pump out the water."Obviously we were dealing with the inclement conditions and just wanted to make sure we could operate the show," she said.
