Sky News Darwin Bureau Chief Matt Cunningham says there was a “huge welcome” for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at the Garma Festival in north-east Arnhem Land.

In Mr Albanese’s speech today he will outline the details of the government’s Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum question.

“It’s going to be a very simple question put to the Australian people – ‘Do you support an alteration to the constitution that establishes an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice?’,” Mr Cunningham said.
