The search for the 60-year-old Aurukun man began on February 1, after he failed to return home from a fishing trip. Wildlife officers and police said in a statement they located a crocodile along the Watson River at Aurukun on Friday night and it was euthanased.Investigations are underway to confirm who the remains belong to.Searches began around the boat ramp and included foot patrols on land, boats searching the river and aerial support.The missing man left him home in Aurukun about midday on January 31, and was believed to have gone fishing near the mouth of the Ward, Watson and Archer rivers.
