Jacinta Price has launched a blistering attack on a teal MP, accusing them of 'hypocrisy' following an interview they conducted with Linda Burney after they 'rejected' an invitation to visit Alice Springs.

Ms Daniel appeared alongside Indigenous Australians Minister Linda Burney on Weekend Breakfast on Saturday to discuss the Voice to Parliament.

Senator Price - who opposes the Voice - described Ms Daniel's interview remarks as"hypocrisy at large" and said the teal MP had"rejected" an invite to visit Alice Springs. "Instead she will speak on behalf of us along with Minister Burney to have kitchen table and door knocking conversations with those in her leafy green electorate to answer their questions.

During the interview, Ms Daniel had said there should be a"reasoned conversation" on the Voice when asked about the concerns that surround the Constitutional change. "There's going to be a range of views about this, but I guess what I ask my community, and all of those who are there this morning I think would agree with that, is to come to this with generosity of spirit," Ms Daniel continued.

"So I don't see anything negative in that, and I think that's the conversation, the reasoned conversation, the fact-based conversation, that we're going to have in the coming months."
