The video showed a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, arresting an African-American man, George Floyd, who said he could not breathe as Mr Chauvin knelt on his kneck.Four responding MPD officers involved in the death of George Floyd have been terminated.Mr Floyd's death after he struggled with officers on Monday night is under investigation by the FBI and state law enforcement authorities."Being Black in America should not be a death sentence.

Police said the man matched the description of a suspect in a forgery case at a grocery store, and that he resisted arrest."Please, please, please, I can't breathe. Please, man," Mr Floyd is heard telling the officer.We have been informed that the man killed by Minneapolis police was named George Floyd.
