Ms Di Fabio is angry the Planning Minister has ignored an independent recommendation to keep the reserveThe park is just metres from her unit, which she bought two years ago to be close to her frail 90-year-old mother. "This is my retirement dream. It's a perfect little place, it's a wonderful little community,'' she said.
Moving home from Warrnambool to care for her mum in 2017, Ms Di Fabio had to spend some of her superannuation to buy a home.The park was a major drawcard.It will be used as a staging ground for the project's tunnel boring machines, which will generate noise and dust for years.
