The Baby Broncos certainly aren’t lacking any confidence, even if they are walking wounded with a losing record heading into the Queensland derby.
Foxsports.com.au spoke with their replacements, Cobbo and Corey Jensen, and the pair both believe the Broncos can “definitely” get back to the grand final. “I played right centre when I first came through filling in for Kotoni, so it’s been a while but I’m getting used to it again. It’s been a good challenge.
Jensen, 30, made his NRL debut at the Cowboys in 2017 and the front-rower played 17 games that season, including the grand final. “It’s been a learning process each week trying to find my feet in a starting role, it’s a bit different to coming off the bench but I’m enjoying it and I feel like I’m improving.”
