A former MasterChef judge has made a major call on his Dancing With The Stars career, with shocked hosts saying they've 'never had this happen before'.
All four judges thanked Preston for his participation and agreed he made the"right" decision to leave the competition.
"Injuries happen, and there's nothing you can do about that. I've been a dancer all my life, if you're injured you shouldn't dance on an injury, so Matt I think you've made the right decision," Horwood said. "I just want to say Matt, thankyou for everything you did do on the show, and I have pushed through an injury before and ended up in surgery so you are absolutely doing the right thing. And thankyou for giving us determination and courage, you've been wonderful. I'm gonna give you a big hug after the show," Burgess added.
McKenney also congratulated Raffa for her"incredible job given the circumstances", adding"I hope I get to see you guys at some point do your dance, I was aching for that". "Matt, just pure class. It's the right thing to do for yourself. Well done Jess, great routines, congratulations," Wilson said. "A great shame about Matt and Jess, but thankyou again," Somers said, before Kruger added"it's been an action-packed night".
