Rafael Nadal says he will have 'total flexibility' with his calendar after testing positive to COVID-19, casting doubt over whether he will compete in the 2022 Australian Open.
The world number six announced his diagnosis on social media overnight after returning home to Spain from an exhibition event in Abu Dhabi.
“Both in Kuwait and Abu Dhabi we passed controls every two days and all were negative, the last being on Friday and having the results on Saturday." "I am now homebound and have reported the result to those who have been in contact with me,” Nadal said.
