Jay Lee answers questions about Google search results and deleting standard apps that are...
Q. When using Google to search the Web on my computer, it gives a limited number of results before I have to click on one of the numbers at the bottom of the page to show more results. When I use Google on my phone, I can just keep scrolling till I find the result I want. Is there a setting I am missing on my computer?
Google just announced that an upcoming update to Chrome will allow for continuous scrolling through your search results, just like it does on a mobile device. The article says the company has started to roll this out, so expect to see it soon if you don’t see it already.Chrome defaults to 10 results per page, but if you go to google.com/preferences you can increase this to 100 results per page.
Q. Is there a safe way to delete programs that came with my computer without deleting something important? I am trying to delete items I never use because I need more free disc space. Can I just drag the application folders the Recycle Bin? The best way to remove programs from your PC is to use the Add Remove programs feature in the Control Panel. This is a Windows utility that links to the uninstall application included with most programs.
