Shadow Infrastructure Minister Bridget McKenzie says it’s important for politicians to be “publicly accountable at all times.”
Ms McKenzie emphasised the importance of transparency in government amid the uncovering of former prime minister Scott Morrison’s decision to secretly swear himself into five portfolios during the pandemic. “Having so much power with one person is a risk – so obviously sharing that risk is important,” Ms McKenzie told Sky News Australia.
