“All of his aides and even his lawyer were, in the last few weeks, the DOJ’s moving into concentric circles to get all of them, they’ve been subpoenaed – some of them were even handcuffed and taken away– and now this raid. “The American people see right through it and it’s really really sad because trust in government is at an all time low.”

The FBI seized 11 sets of classified information from Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago property earlier this week, including some materials marked as 'top secret/SCI', according to a search warrant. The unsealed search warrant reveals the former US president is being investigated for possible violations of the Espionage Act, obstruction of justice and criminal handling of government records. 'The reason why they have to refer to the Espionage Act, which applies if you transfer classified information to an unauthorised person, is that the Presidential Records Act doesn't include any penalties,' Mr Hinderaker said. 'They want to say that it's at least possible that some kind of a crime has been committed.'
